On May 7th, we bring together a diverse line-up of intimate duo performances, each exploring their own musical language:

In this concert, Davor Stehlik and Stan Verstegen present their latest original compositions, rooted in jazz, soul, gospel, and Brazilian music. The interaction between two harmonic instruments creates a rich and layered sound, blending lyrical melodies with sophisticated harmonies. With a strong sense of spontaneity, they embrace the present moment and explore the boundaries of form through improvisation, resulting in a dynamic musical dialogue.

Paula Bilá (voice/guitar) & Mauro Cottone (double bass)
Spanish singer Paula Bilá and Italian bassist Mauro Cottone began collaborating in Amsterdam, where they are currently based. Their shared love for jazz, Spanish music, and improvisation led them to develop a unique duo repertoire for voice and double bass, occasionally enriched by guitar. In this intimate setting, they perform Paula’s soulful original compositions inspired by her South Spanish roots, alongside lesser-known jazz standards and well-loved Spanish and South American songs.
